Quick break before we move on...

Now, I must take a brief time out to kind of reflect upon what I'm doing.  We got rather detailed when going over how to change video modes, plot pixels and draw lines.  We will no doubt continue to go into detail as we bring about the other elements of graphics based programming, mainly video games.  I realize, though, that it can be a drag having to comb through the underlying theories before you actually get to some useful code.  For that is the reason why I try to make the code clear, concise and readily available.

If you are just simply interested in the code, it's all here for the taking.  One thing that I never liked about most tutorials for programming is that they never illustrate how the code works and the theory that went behind it.  That is why I illustrate it all here.  It is my hope that this tutorial will not only teach you the code, but also the understanding of how it all actually works.

That said, let's move on.  Next we'll learn how to draw circles.
